My name is Ryan, i run this hastily thrown together web site(if you can call it that). Ideally this was going to be a place were i can post artwork that i have done,maybe even comics if i ever got off my ass and commited myself to doing some. because of space restrictions though, i cannot put the desired number of pictures up, maybe i can and im just a moron for not figuring it out(an equally valid assumption). oh well, enjoy what there is, and that isn't much.
I am pretty much a geek, i watch anime(geeky) read comic books(geeky), the usuall assortment of hobbies that shine a light on geekdom. Although in my defence i dont play role playing games, well not pen and paper, i also play video games, geeky, but not as much as it used to be). One saving grace is that i discovered punk rock a while back,(geeky int its own right)and i enjoy going to shows. I also draw and on occasion write. I like fine art but as most people my age, find low brow art much more appealing and relevent to myself and lifestyle(i have a lifestyle?.)I am a fan of graffiti art, out of most styles of art, i find it one of the most pure and unpretentious. I have done some character art down at the graffiti wall in redmond before, and when i get more money i want to break full on into graffiti. I also have a fascination with asian culture(transcends geeky,as some people apparently find it scary and offesnive...fuckin rascists!). By all acounts i should be considered an otaku, which most of my friends must surely consider me. I dont like to think of myself as one, i loathe most pople who call themselves otaku, and wish to have nothing to do with them. If anything i would call myself a closet otaku. I may know a good amount of things anime and related to, but i also have somewhat of a life that doesn't concern itself with japanese animation. any way thats all on me for now |
